I feel so hopeless when I see all these bombings and killings, and I often wonder of how ungrateful we are..The people out there who are being killed are little children who have seen nothing of this world, know of no evil act and have seen only misery and warfare throughout their growing days.
It is such a mess to see so much blood and violence and to think that we feel so very alienated from all these while the incidents happening are occurring right across the continent , to our own Asian inhabitants.!!
It is in awe that I consider how we react at the release of some big budget hollywood movie, or some rapper or music honcho selling his albums and making millions out of it.. It is also in awe that I notice how we react at the prospect of the far possibility that the mess of a world that we are living in right now is going to end next month.. For God's sake someone please redefine the meaning of humans.. Cz this is not what God intended us to be.. He created us not to fight over measly land or penny dollars with which we can purchase branded shoes or gem-encrusted handy phones of carved wood, or sterilized broccoli for that matter!! He created us so that we can experience love. He made all of us different so that we may experience oneness in our differences. He made life a mixture of sorrow and joy so that we know to relish the two.He gave us hope not to hope for a bigger land or a heftier sum in our savings. He could have easily made all of us live our entire life n a couple of days..But No... He made Life span over 60-100 years.. So that we experience what is change. So that we have faith even in change. So that we live in harmony and teach our successive generation the essence that is hidden in kindness, in empathy ,and in harmony. He taught us to share.. by giving some a little more, and giving some a little less,.. So that the richer shares his possession and the poor shares with fellow poor what little is his.
I live in India. A country where every perspective is mixed. We neither advanced, nor retarded in our cultures. As we love giving, so do we love taking. We sympathize a lot. A few are courageous enough to act. We dream. We pursue. We are not unknown to injustice. We hanker a lot about the inefficient working of the government, we also sometimes vote, with the hope that an efficient administrator runs the government. But we have not really seen or even had a far away glimpse of what Gaza is going through., or what Palestine has been through in the last century and almost all of what we have completed in the present century. I am not writing this piece so suddenly everyone will become 'Jaagrukth' about what is happening in the world or what could happen. I am just wondering as to how we fall short in saying our gratitude to the lord for keeping us away, yet aware off all the pain that we humans inflict on fellow humans without any contribution from GOD..
